The fiestas of San Isidro will be held on Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th of May. The main events will take place on Saturday with a parade of floats, which this year will leave from the Convent and end in the Ginés Park, as well as a horse exhibition, with great equestrian specialists, which will take place on the same day in the morning in the Ginés Ibáñez Park.
We encourage the residents of Cehegín to collaborate and participate in these festivities, wearing the traditional huertano costume and also joining the procession with floats decorated with their own motifs alluding to the world of the huerta.
It is recommended that the traditional huerta costume be worn on Saturday 14th May. And for registering for the floats this year all participants will be given 100 euros, a ham and a barrel of wine; this registration, as well as to be able to participate in the preparation of migas, can be made at the Espacio Joven.
