Colonel Benito Tauler Cid, from the Institute of Military History and Culture of Spain, will inaugurate the Historical Heritage Conference Series at the Municipal Archaeological Museum of Cehegín this Thursday 12th of May at 7:30 pm with the conference: ‘2000 days of combat. The Spanish armies in the War of Independence’.
The cycle will last until the 8th of June and the Archaeological Museum will host on Friday, 27th of May, the conference, ‘Engineering at the service of the Roman city: the aqueducts’, given by Elena Sánchez López and A. Javier Martínez Jiménez, from the Department of Prehistory and Archaeology of the University of Granada. At 8:00 pm hours.
On Thursday the 2nd of June, also at 08:00 pm, the anthropologist and art historian Isabel Bueno Bravo will give a conference entitled “Moctezuma, a great unknown”.
And Fernando Pérez Valera and J. Alberto Pérez Valera, from the University of Alicante, will bring this series of conferences to a close with a talk entitled “The Triassic of Cehegín: geological, palaeontological and mining heritage”. This will take place on Wednesday the 8th of June, also at 8:00 pm.
