Turn off Canara, light the stars

This week we are celebrating our anniversary and we will celebrate it with a blackout!
The 20th of April is the sixteenth anniversary of the Starlight Declaration or Declaration of La Palma, which states the importance of defending the dark sky and the right to starlight, in whose drafting participated UNESCO, the IAU and the UNWTO among other organizations.

We will celebrate it on Saturday the 22nd with a public lighting blackout in the municipality of Cehegín, specifically in the district of Canara, where we will also enjoy a star shower, a very special night of observation.
