The Plaza del Castillo, the center of the Old Town of Cehegín, will host next Sunday a new edition of the Artisan Market ‘El Mesoncico’ dedicated to the products offered by Cehegín in this autumn season. It will begin at 10:00 am.
Visitors to this market will enjoy some of the typical flavors of this time of year, such as roasted chestnuts.
In addition, this tourist event will have activities for children and will feature a children’s workshop on stone decoration, which will begin at 11:00 am and a storyteller at 12:30 pm.
The activities will be completed with a Pottery Workshop and there will also be Animation and Dramatized Music.
Along with all this, more than fifty artisans from the Northwest Region and throughout the Region of Murcia will gather to offer their products, such as sausages, ceramics, sweets, soaps, wines, cheeses, etc..
On the other hand, visitors will have a free shuttle service minibus to get to the Plaza del Castillo, which will have its collection point in the Plaza del Alpargatero. And it is also recalled that a park-and-ride parking lot located on the esplanade of the Marble Technology Center, on the road to Murcia next to the entrance ‘Cehegín West’ will be enabled. In this way it will be much more convenient and easier to access to the market avoiding parking problems.
