If you want an unforgettable experience, the councils of Tourism and Forestry have organised two hiking routes in the Coto de las Maravillas this weekend to listen to the bellowing of the deer.
The first will be at night on Saturday the 2nd of October from 8 pm hours and the meeting point will be El Coto de las Maravillas.

This is a 5.5km walk of medium-low difficulty, climbing to the viewpoints, listening to the bellowing of the deer, and enjoying the night-time spectacle that can be seen from the Coto de las Maravillas. The duration of the walk is approximately one and a half hours. The price will be 4 euros and there will be the option of dinner after the event.
The second will take place on Sunday, 3rd of October, starting at 7am. It will start from Coto de las Maravillas at 7:00am in the morning, making the approximate itinerary of 5.5km, of medium-low difficulty and visiting the two viewpoints where, not only could you hear the bellowing, you can also see the rich flora and fauna of the municipality of Cehegín. The duration of the walk would be one and a half hours, and at the end there would be breakfast at the Coto. The price of the route plus breakfast is 7 euros.
Registrations can be made at the Tourist Office in Cehegín or by telephone on 968 723 550. You can pay directly there before the start of the route or at the Tourist Office. There are 30 places on each route and children must be over 12 years old. Maximum punctuality is kindly requested.
