The Fiestas de San Isidro Labrador are approaching and prior to the event there will be a concert with El Arrebato, on Friday the 12th of May from 22:30 pm in the Sala Camelot.

Tickets can be purchased – at a price of 25 euros – in the webpages geventosmurcia.com, entradasatualcance.com and in the Culture House and the Tourist Office of Cehegín.

On Saturday, the festive day will begin at 12:30 pm with the Meeting of Cuadrillas in the street Ginés de Paco, in which 5 groups will participate, including one from El Campillo de los Jimenez. Shortly after, at 13:00 pm a parade will begin down the Gran Via ending at the Fairgrounds. Later in the afternoon, at 20:00 pm the pilgrimage will begin and San Isidro will be accompanied by floats huertanas, horses, Cuadrillas, groups of Choirs and Dances and charangas. At 22:00 pm, there will be traditional migas in the park Ginés Ibáñez and at 23:00 pm, party with DJs.

On Sunday, in the same park there will be cake with chocolate, from 9:30 am and at 10:00 am the huertana mass will begin . Then, with the presentation of diplomas and medals, will end the festivities in honor of San Isidro Labrador.

From the Brotherhood of San Isidro Labrador, Francisco Boluda and Francisco Sanchez remember that the clubs participating in the pilgrimage will have a 50% discount on the fee for the stalls of the September festivities. And they add that, this year more than ever, we must accompany the saint in rogation to ask for rain.
