Spring in Cehegín. Time of sun, fruits and flowers that have been shaping the identity and are part of the history of this town. The Plaza del Castillo, the nerve centre of the Old Town of Cehegín, will host on Sunday, 29 May, a new edition of the Artisan Market ‘El Mesoncico’, called on this occasion “Spring Wonder”.
An activity organised by the Department of Tourism, directed by Alicia del Amor, in which, again, there will be different activities that will accompany artisans, who will offer their products, such as sausages, ceramics, sweets, soaps, wines, cheeses, etc..
This traditional street market will begin at 10:00 am. At 11:00 a.m. there will be a workshop on how to make magic wands for the little ones, and at 12:30 it will be the turn of a storyteller, entitled “El rey se ha vuelto loco” (“The king has gone mad”).
In addition, this emblematic square will host bouncy castles, a workshop and exhibition of giants and big-heads, entertainment and dramatised music and a tasting of Marineras for visitors.
