The Iqlim of Cehegín (ancient castle) is the reason and origin of the existence of our town. Its ancient remains still form part of our Old Town. Through winding and narrow streets, we will discover the imposing towers and walls, we will momentarily reconstruct what has disappeared and we will immerse ourselves in one of the most exciting and little known stages of the history of Cehegín, its Muslim period.
The meeting point will be the Plaza del Alpargatero at 11.30 am on the 19th of February and it is a free guided tour programmed by the Department of Tourism in collaboration with Guiasmur and Turismo región de Murcia.

If the event is cancelled due to weather conditions or for reasons beyond the control of the Tourist Office, all those who booked will be notified well in advance. It is advisable to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
