Tomorrow Saturday from 6:00 pm, Cehegín will take a big step in the enhancement of its historic centre, with the recovery and conservation of many buildings and ground floors which will encourage their use.
Specifically, there are seven premises to be opened in this first phase of recovery of this enclave, including an art gallery for Cehegín artists, the inauguration of a micro gallery which will be directed by the local painter, Nicolás de Maya, and which will house works by national artists.
The premises will also be used as a centre for working the clay by craftsmen from the dsitrict of Valentín; the beekeeping sector will also be there, as well as a permanent space for the exhibition of our commercial, hotel and catering sector; a space for the Association of the Jardinico, …
The programme for this Saturday is as follows:
5:45 pm: “Batukada” from Gran Vía to López Chicheri Street.
6:00 pm: Inauguration of shops in ground floors of López Chicheri Street, Plaza del Mesoncico and Calle Mayor.
7:30 pm Inauguration of the exhibition “The end of a civilisation”. Palace of the Fajardo.
7:40 pm: Inauguration of “Micro Art Gallery”: “Discover your inner self”.
7:50 pm: Inauguration of the “Painting” of the Façade of the Fajardo Palace.
8:00 pm. Concert by “Los Happys”.
