Cehegín will host between the 20th and 27th of February the 35th edition of the International Trophy Murcia Costa Cálida with more than 1.800 runners from all over the world. The races, between the Coto de las Maravillas and the Old Town circuit, will count towards the World Orienteering League, the Spanish Orienteering League and the Spanish Sprint League. Apart from being the Spanish Military Championships.
The Scandinavians – more than 400 between Finns, Norwegians and Swedes – stand out, although there will also be Belgians, Italians, French,…, and, of course, the Spaniards. All together, 28 nationalities, a number difficult to reach in any other sporting discipline. And there are runners ranging in age from 10 to 75 years old.
